NORTHINGTON STEET, CAMDEN,

Replacement Scheme in Bloomsbury Conservation Area

Appeal (Informal Hearing) representations to secure Conservation Area Consent for Demolition and Planning Permission for the replacement of a derelict Georgian Mews building with a contemporary scheme by architect Bill Greensmith;

On completion, the building was highly praised by Jonathan Glancey in the Guardian of 27.02.2006 but has since been considerably altered by others, although its integration within the designated Streetscene, on which we also advised, remains.
