Eleni Makri was employed from 1985 - 1988 as the Conservation Architect to the Theatre of Dionysus at the Acropolis in Athens, by the Archaeological Service and the Committee on the Preservation of the Theatre of Dionysus.  Her brief was to interpret and propose measures to resolve the long - standing problem of collapses of the retaining wall of the Eastern Parodos.  Her proposals were presented at an International Day Conference in Athens in May 1988 and their implementation was completed in 2004.  The images, with the exception of the last one, are from the relevant publications and reports Eleni prepared at the time.
